Red hair

Just wanted to post a picture of my magenta hair I had after the "red hot" color. Now I have just straight red.
The first picture in my black shirt is magenta. Other one is red!

Thrift #4 Fall sweaters and scarves!

My pride and joy is the coat from love culture! Only $8.50!
Each scarf was $1 and leg Warmers to the right of them were .50!
Each of the 4 sweaters were $2.75 or $3.25! Left so happy!
I found everything in under 40 mins!

3rd mini thrifting trip!

I only looked at the shoes and accessories at the family thrift store because that store was WAY too big to go through even half of its clothes. I did not have enough time for that!
Shoes on the left were $3 the dark blue was $7! I love my fall boots!

Thrifting!

Recently gotten into thrifting and I must say, why did I EVER pay full price? I love Salvation Army because they have 50% on all clothing every Wednesday! Such a steal! I can't wait to visit more thrift stores on Friday. The 2 dresses were both $3 or $4 each, the boots were $5.50 and the sweater was $2! Boots were my treasure of the day by far! Add some tights and a jacket to the dress and I'm ready for fall!

Scarlett's Costume

We found the cutest outfit for Scarlett's first Halloween! We instantly fell in love! It's perfect! Our little pink monster!

Fitness Smoothies!

After Cruising through Pinterest for hours, I found several different fitness smoothies that you can drink to loose weight, help circulate your system, boost metabolism, or to drink in place of an unhealthy snack. I made my first green fitness smoothie this morning! It's delicious and easy to make!

Ingredients:
1 cup of pineapple chunks
1 cup of plain yogurt.
2 bananas
2 handfuls of spinach
1 cup of filtered water

That's it! Although I must say it does come out warm. I had to stick mine in the fridge for an hour to make it cool. Next time I'll probably add ice cubes.

Loreal hicolor "Red Hot"

About 8 months ago I had dyed black hair. I used loreal hicolor highlights in "red" because I heard nothing but good review! My hair turned out amazing!! Just last week I wanted a bit of a darker color so I went from using the "highlights" to just the regular black box that said "red hot" and this is the result! The left is my "red" and right is "red hot".
Everyone loves is but unfortunately I have already begun to miss my Ted hair so I will be going back to either red or magenta in about a week! :)

Houston Museum of Natural Science!

Fido, Scarlett and I went to the Houston museum this past Friday. It was so much cooler than I thought it would be! I didn't really get any pics of the dinosaurs or butterfly room but fido got plenty. It was amazing! There was plenty of cool thing to look at in the Dino area and the butterfly room was so fun for Scarlett. She was able to get very close to them!

Mason jar cups first part

So I got this idea from Pinterest. It is how to make a mason jar into a cup. Basically we had to get mason jars, drill holes into them with a 3/8 drill bit (lid still on top of jar work best so you can hold it still), take off the excess with wirecutters, and then slide a grommet into it. I'm putting up pictures of everything except for the grommet into the mason jar and the finished product because we are still waiting on the grommets to come in the mail. This is what we have so far!
